1972 Pontiac Lemans

This Pro-Touring Restomod built by SPEEDTECH PERFORMANCE is a full frame-off rotisserie restoration, built on a new frame by SPEEDTECH and powered by a LS3 backed by a 4L65E transmission.

This Lemans was built with special attention to the SPEEDTECH PERFORMANCE frame and suspension system offering all SPEEDTECH’s best. The frame received several upgrades including the SPEEDTECH A-body front and rear Coil-over Conversion kit, their new A-body Frame Box and Bracing kit, this complete SPEEDTECH PERFORMANCE Track-Time 4 link suspension package covers the best in front and rear suspensions and lastly a satin black powder coating. To finish off this package is the Wilwood 4 wheel disc brakes to handle the stopping duties. For the perfect stance all this is sitting atop of a custom set of 18” BZOE WIT wheels wrapped in FALKIN AZENIS tires 285/30ZR18’s up front and 315/30R18’s out back.

For power, this Lemans uses a new crate LS3 backed with a new 4L65E transmission driving a full built posi rear end. Topping things off is the new Vintage Air a/c installation. This LS3, 525 hp, fuel injected engine has a nice rumble at idle, and through the SPEEDTECH PERFORMANCE stainless full length headers, 3? stainless exhaust, and Magnaflow mufflers it has that distinct tone that will turn heads anywhere when you lay into the throttle.

Once the car and frame was mechanically complete, the body underwent a complete rotisserie restoration. After receiving a full body media blasting it was evident that some rust repair needed to be addressed throughout the body. A new floor, trunk pan, and rear 1/4 panels were grafted in along with some minor patch work around the car. Once the body was back in shape, this Lemans underwent final body work. Satin black paint, blacking out the chrome along with an all new interior & upgrades.

With all the new drive, suspension and body finally in place this car got a complete rewire using the American Autowire to replace the original worked and reworked harness. Then the dash was finished off with new Auto Meter graphite gages and the Vintage air controller. An all new interior was added along with new dual halogen lights. With just under two thousand miles on this build this car is ready for its next adventure.
