The car was completely disassembled and sanded to bare metal
The body is all metal and solid and body panels line up nicely
Original color is rally red
The car was given three coats of epoxy primer blocked and received its first repaint base coat clear coat of its original color fe5= rally red
As the motor was out the engine compartment was painted as was the trunk and jams
All trim was removed and either restored or replaced
The floors and frame rails are all solid original and un repaired. Checkout the last pic. This was taken during restoration, still has the original plugs and not even a pin hole
The original drivetrain was removed and the 340 was completely rebuilt
Std flat top pistons & high speed moly rings, standard bearings, comp cam, new lifters and timing chain, all new freeze plugs, factory four barrel intake, edelbrock 1406 carb, 360 heads-has a really lopey rumble through custom all welded flowmaster dual exhaust and oe style SS tips
The 727 torqueflight transmission was resealed and serviced and shifts smooth and strong through all gears the 355 posi rear makes this car fast and really turns heads!
Optioned with power steering and power disc/drum brakes and front and rear stabilizers
New be cool radiator keeps her running cool all day long
All electric works as it should
The car goes down the road straight the front end alignment was done when the avenger gt 225 70 14 tires were put on the original rally wheels
The fuel and brake and trans lines are all new
The brakes are new including the master cylinder and booster, hoses, calipers and wheel cylinders
Runs strong on pump gas and really sounds awesome!
Interior was given new legendary seats, headliner carpet and dash
Windshield is new
Doors and windows open easy and close tight
It is a blast to drive this beauty
