Up for sale is a 1997 Ford F250 HD 7.3 Turbodiesel 4×4 with only 197k miles, this truck has undergone an extensive restoration that left nothing untouched, and has been driven less than 500 miles since the restoration.
Exterior: The truck received a bed-off repaint by a professional shop in 2018, it was painted back to a factory ford color for 2018 “Lead foot grey”. The paint is in extremely good shape with no chips or scratches and no orange peel. The body lines are very straight and the truck has no dents or dings, the doors shut well and line up good. It has also had a new windshield installed and a new tailgate, as well as the truck bed being bedlined by a ford dealership, not home made. The front and rear bumpers have been changed from stock, the front is a new 2010 style bumper and the rear is a custom made bumper from a shop.
Interior: The interior of the truck has been updated to include leather seats from a 2010 lariat F250, they fit well and are very comfortable. The radio was upgraded to a newer unit that has GPS and Bluetooth capability, the front speakers have been upgraded to pioneer speakers and dual 10 inch subs have been installed under the rear seats. New carpet has been installed as well as a new headliner and console.
Engine: The engine has been upgraded with several items to increase its performance and reliability, here is a list of most of the main modifications and new parts done

As you can see, the engine has been the primary focus of this build because it is the most important part of any diesel working vehicle, the mods that have been installed were not cheap and are from reputable brands. The speedometer reads 197k but the vehicle history has the mileage as being higher so at some point before my ownership the gauge cluster was changed, I wanted to make sure to disclose this. The original engine was replaced during my ownership so the original mileage would not have been accurate regardless. The engine we replaced the original engine with was pulled from a truck with 140k miles as the original engine was worn out.
Drivetrain: The transmission installed is a new shift rite stage 1 transmission here are the main parts updated for the stage 1

This transmission was built to withstand the increased HP and mainly Torque of the engine, and has proven to be more than capable.
The front axle was swapped out for a stronger Dana 60, the front axle of the F350, and a custom front driveshaft was made to work with the existing transaxle. New Bilstein shocks were installed all around to provide the truck with a much more comfortable ride than stock. It currently rides on Fuel boost rims that are in excellent shape, with BF Goodrich KO2 Tires with hardly any miles on them.
Fuel: The truck has been upgraded from the stock mechanical pump, to a electronic fuel system with a bosch pump, this enables the truck to run smoother and be more responsive, it also has a filter system thats easy to access. Both fuel tanks were replaced with brand new units, as well as new fuel sending units and a new fuel tank switcher.
This truck runs and drives extremely well, and has lots of power and was built to pull. This truck has had 3 year restoration where everything was gone through and checked, with no expense spared. Overall this is a very nice truck that would be a perfect work truck/ toy that needs to be enjoyed!
