Because there have been so few miles put on this Z/28 since its restoration, the motor looks as fresh as the rest of the car. We don’t believe the V8 is original, but this is a true Z/28 with a correct 302 cubic-inch V8. That means people will marvel at a very correct powerplant for this rare classic. In fact, they really made sure to get the details right, including the GM hoses and decals. There’s even the correct diaphragm around the air topper for a proper cowl induction hood. That helps feed fresh air to the massive and correct Holley 780 CFM four-barrel carburetor. This special V8 exhales through long tube headers with the kind of authority that these Z/28 were legendary for providing. Also, part of this legend is serious power and torque.
