This was a 5 year restoration project that started with a 1997 Lamborghini Roadster chassis and a 1992 Lamborghini Drivetrain
No expense was spared using original parts. All the parts (Including the original carbon fiber roof) are original, with the exception of the AirRide front suspension system and radio (the AMP is original!).
It is titled as a 1992 Lamborghini Diablo as the Original Roadster chassis was from Florida which only had a certificate of destruction.
It is a 2WD drive with power steering. It has been on the track with Valentino Balboni (Roof signed by him). Obviously I am not expecting top dollar from a salvaged Lamborghini as it was built with love and passion for the brand and car, although one would be pressed to find any major flaws in it’s restoration.
There are a few minor issues like the Tach stopped working this summer (Fuse or ground I suspect) and the paint it 95% I built the car to enjoy it as it was my first Lamborghini, but I don’t have room any more to keep her.
She runs and drives like any other 1997 Diablo.
